Description
Gingers are common tropical flowers found on the Hawaiian islands. They come in all sorts of shapes, colors, and sizes. I took this image of a brightly lit red Torch Ginger (Etlingera elatior) against a dark background of large dark green leaves at the Hono Hu'Aka Tropical Plantation on the Hawaiian Island of Maui.
